I didn't have any ideas for Mum's birthday present or card, but when I went looking for a present the very first shop had this kit with seeds to grow cocktail ingredients! From there I got the idea for the card.
I wasn't sure how well it would turn out, trying to represent transparent things like glass and liquid using card, but I was really pleased that just making the outlines gave the right impression. The only difficult bit was gluing down all the thin pieces of card.

I love the card. Did you have a pattern or you just printed each piece separately and then glued them down.
